Marina Bay Sands casino cheats nabbed


Police have arrested a 23-year-old croupier with Marina Bay Sands (MBS) casino and three of his accomplices for allegedly cheating the casino of about $50,000.

Officers from the Criminal Investigations Department's (CID) Casino Crime Investigation Branch, nabbed the croupier and a 48-year-old man were arrested on Wednesday, their two other accomplices were nabbed on Thursday.

If convicted of Conspiracy to commit Cheating the four men face up to 10 years in jail, and a fine.

Head of the Casino Crime Investigation Branch, Superintendent of Police Michael Ang on Thursday reiterated the police's stand against such criminal activities.
